We are back in the swing of things! This week's Tuesday Policy Review is about how Attendance Matters, Excused Absences, and when a student has scheduled time off campus. Please take a moment to look through these policies. Attendance really matters!
When students reduce absences, they can make academic gains.
Research shows that when student attendance improves in ninth grade, graduation rates rise. By reducing absences, more students stayed in school until graduation. In the early grades, several studies suggest that the children who arrived with the weakest skills and attended regularly saw outsized gains in achievement.

The public is invited to walk through the old elementary to place bids on items they would like to purchase. Items must be removed by Jan. 16. You must be able to remove the items yourself. School personnel will not be available to help.

All students must officially check out at the office before leaving the school grounds. This applies to students who are 18 years of age as well. Before checking out, the student must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. If students arrive on campus any time after the first tardy bell, they must check in at the office and be issued a tardy slip before attending class.
