Important Announcements ** All high school students will get into the volleyball game on Wednesday for free. It's Senior night vs. Soda Springs ** - There is a spirit bus going to Bear Lake on Thursday. If you would like to go, you need to pay $8 in the office and sign up. Bus will leave at 4:15 and get back to Malad at 10:30. ** - Students who have paid their pay to play this year will receive an athletic pass for the rest of the school year. When you pay your pay to play you will now receive an athletic pass. ** If you do not have - pay to play fees - then you can still purchase an athletic pass for $40. If you have already purchased an athletic pass this year for $75 then you can get a refund from the office.

We had a pretty cool opportunity today! The Idaho Trucking Association came and brought a Trucking simulator for our kids to try! Huge Shoutout to Idaho Trucking Association and to Kami Willie (our College and Career Counselor) for getting this awesome opportunity in Malad! We had 3 students score a perfect score. It's harder than you think!

A Senior, Cianna Searle, is working on her Senior Project and needs your help. She is looking for people willing to donate or sell cheap TVs that aren't bigger than 32". She is putting in a scoring system at Malad Bowl and is in need of some TVs to help finish up her project. Please reach out to her at (208) 220-0981.

On October 16, 2023, the Southeastern Idaho Health Department will be at MHS to run a Meningococcal clinic. All Seniors (Grade 12) in high school must have this Vaccine. Please mark your calendars for all MHS Seniors to get this Vaccine. You can find out more information by contacting the South East Idaho Health Department. Students do need to turn in a vaccine permission form, which was sent via Swift Reach to all students at MHS in the 12th grade. Please check your email for more information.

We are super excited that we are only a WEEK away from the annual FFA Auction! Make sure you plan to come to the Event Center on October 2 for some great food, a silent auction, and a live auction! Dinner is by donation and will start being served at 5:30 pm. There are to-go containers available as well. Support the FFA!

Homecoming Week starts tomorrow!!

One student editor has put a lot of time and effort into creating the first edition. Sydnee, thank you for your hard work! MHS Volleyball played Mountain Crest last night. Malad vs. Mountain Crest 8/31/23 C: 22-25/25-18/15-6 JV: 23-25/25-22/13-15 V: 25-16/25-19/25-15 Varsity had a clean sweep in 3!

Some huge changes are coming to MHS Athletics, and we are excited about it! ** 1. Entrance to games will only be at the East Doors. Please park in the East parking lot (where the students park) and enter through those doors. All other entries will be locked, and you will not get into Malad High School. ** 2. Please look at the Map to see where the Busses will unload for games and park. ** 3. Athletic Passes are available for Families and Individuals! The Family Pass is for Immediate Family members only. ** 4. These Athletic Passes will get you into games and Malad Middle School, too! ** 5. The last thing to note is that Athletic Passes only get you into Regular Season Athletic Events at Malad High School. They do not cover Tournaments (including District and State) or Jamborees. The passes are nontransferable or refundable. ** If you have any questions, please get in touch with the front office at Malad High School.

The opening Cross Country meet took place in Malad this last Thursday. The MHS Cross Country Team is off to a great start! Way to go Dragons for fighting hard. If you see any of these kids give them a shoutout. It take a lot of dedication to run in the heat like they do.

Registration for all returning students will be August 14 from 8 am until 3 pm

High School Registration will be August 14 for all returning Oneida School District students from 8 am-3 pm. Yearbook photos will be taken, please follow dress code for photos. Seniors please wear best dress.
