The Advanced Opportunities Program provides every student attending an Idaho public school an allocation of $4,625 to use towards Advanced Opportunities courses in grades 7-12. This program will pay for college level courses and high school level overload courses. Not to be confused with educational funding through BES which pays for separate educational expenses.
Students who choose to enroll in their local school for one or more classes will have $340 per year long class taken from their supplemental learning funds. All students must enroll in at least 2 classes through IHLA to participate in our program. Students who are considered full time by their local school, regardless of the number of credits taken there, are not eligible to enroll with IHLA.
