Join us in the Malad Middle School Library tomorrow, February 5th, to meet the Candidates for Superintendent.
The Oneida School District is hiring a new superintendent to replace Jon Abrams, who is retiring in June 2025. There are three individuals who have applied for this position. They are: Brady Garner, Gary Tucker, and Dallan Rupp. Interviews for this position will take place on Feb. 5th at the OSD office beginning at 3 :00 p.m.
The public is welcome to walk through the old MES today from 4-6pm to take items. . No one is allowed in before 4pm. This will be the last chance to take items before abatement and demolition begin.
**To the person/people who took the baseball equipment-PLEASE RETURN IT!
We need whoever took the baseball equipment from the Elementary School that was in the Not locked upstairs janitor's closet across from the old gym to return that to the MHS Office. Those materials belong to the MHS Athletic Department and the Baseball Program.

The public is invited to do a final walk through of the old Malad Elementary on Jan. 20-21
from 4-8pm and take any items that are left. Donations will be accepted. Please come prepared to remove and take the items home at that time.
The time for the January 21, 2025 school board meeting has been changed to 5pm.
The public is invited to walk through the old elementary to place bids on items they would like to purchase. Items must be removed by Jan. 16. You must be able to remove the items yourself. School personnel will not be available to help.

MHS Highlight: College Algebra

On November 12, MHS College Algebra hosted a unique and engaging event for the students. The class welcomed Premier Welding to the classroom to provide a practical, hands-on learning experience. This collaboration allowed students to step into the roles of engineers and apply the mathematical concepts they have been studying by constructing rollercoasters. The MHS Volleyball Team is coming home with the State Runner-Up Trophy! It may not have ended the way they had hoped, but we are sure proud of them. They played their hearts out! Congrats MHS Volleyball!
Congratulations to the MHS Cross Country team today! The Boy's Team took 2nd, and the Girl's Team took 4th. There were also some top 20 finishers! Congrats to Aezlyn in 7th place, Kaycee in 19th place, Boston in 3rd place, Brycen in 16th place, and Levi in 20th place. Way to represent MHS well at State Cross Country.

Oneida School District #351 is in desperate need of Bus Drivers. Please let us know if you would like to be considered for a bus driver position.
