Tia Talbot is the Employee of the Month (April 2024) for Oneida School District.
Tia teaches at Malad Middle School as a 6th grade Physical Science teacher and 8th grade Earth Science teacher. Principal Robert Hannah said this about Mrs. Talbot:
It is a pleasure to work with Tia Talbot. She is an outstanding teacher. Tia is a huge part of our school’s culture and positive climate. Tia has taught at Malad Middle School for the past two years. Prior to that she taught at Malad High School for 15 years. Every day she is here she brings energy and enthusiasm to her 6th grade Physical Science students and her 8th grade Earth Science students. Recently Tia also received the 2024 Idaho Youth Sports Commission GameChanger Coach Award. She does an outstanding job as our MHS and MMS Cross Country Coach and MMS Track Coach. To get everything done that we ask Tia to do takes countless hours. I know that our students benefit every day from Tia’s commitment to student learning and overall middle school experience.
