Dear Board of Trustees,
I am pleased to write this letter in support of Trixy Lind’s Employee of the Month award. I have had the opportunity to work closely with Trixy for the past 4 years. Her work ethic, dedication, and knowledge have greatly benefited the students and staff at Idaho Home Learning Academy. She is a critical part of our school processes and there are few students, parents, and staff members who have not been impacted by her efforts in some way. Trixy started her career at IHLA as a K-8 teacher. Trixy was always willing to take the time to meet with students and parents to support them in their learning process. She also spent countless hours serving on the statewide ISAT testing team. Trixy’s teaching skills and compassion benefited many students and we still hear from time to time how much she has been missed there. When IHLA High School was established, Trixy took on the responsibility of becoming the Academic Services Coordinator at IHLA High School. Over the years her duties have spanned from Advanced Opportunities and state reporting to website creation and storing final grades. Her skill set truly supports every aspect of our school as she is a problem solver and mentor to others. Trixy has willingly taken on new tasks every year since IHLA High School started and has continued to do so with a willing attitude. Trixy excels at building relationships with students, parents, and staff members. She spends hours above and beyond what is expected of her to provide extra support to our entire K-12 team. Trixy serves as a model in our school with impressive dedication to the success of our entire program. She provides a tremendous amount of support to our school counselors, our attendance team, our SpEd team, and our administration. We appreciate Trixy for keeping us moving every day. She is truly deserving of this honor.
